FIELD: hydraulic engineering, particularly fish-protective devices used in water intake structures for water pumping from fishery water bodies.

SUBSTANCE: fish passing mouth comprises water inlet pipe of pumping plant, water-permeable screen located along mouth axis, water-impervious cone, partitions, water-impervious jet-forming conoidal screen installed along longitudinal mouth axis, jet generator arranged in mouth top and connected with waterway and bell member communicating water inlet pipe with mouth. The jet generator is provided with conical converging nozzles. Partitions are symmetrically arranged in pairs and fastened to outer jet generator perimeter by the first ends thereof so that common edge is created. Other partition ends are fastened to bell member so that the ends are spaced equal distances apart. The partitions are directed along mouth axis so that inner edges of adjacent partition pairs create water-permeable screen made as windows. Water-impervious screens are connected to inner edges of common partition pairs. Conical converging nozzles are arranged on jet generator between common edges of the nearest partition pairs. Water-impervious cone has taper angle of α=90-100°. Water-impervious conoidal screen top is directed towards water inlet pipe of pumping plant. Partition heights are equal to 0.25D, where D is diameter of water-impervious cone base adjoining the jet generator.

EFFECT: increased young fish protection and improved fine rubbish removal along with increased water intake structure capacity.
