FIELD: radio electronics; data exchange between shipboard functional systems.
SUBSTANCE: all switching centers of system are identical and independent; data sources and subscribers are assigned to them; switching centers are interconnected by means of two-wire duplex optical communication lines; each switching center has interface incorporating data sources connected in series with multiplexer/demultiplexer, processing and distribution units; distribution unit is connected through its first input to alarm unit and through second input, to transceiver units , the latter being connected, in their turn, to image converters coupled with fiber-optic communication lines.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities, enhanced reliability and survivability, and reduced length of linear cable network.
