FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for cleaning exhaust gases of internal combustion engines from toxic components. Proposed device includes recirculating valve with soot collector in form of ceramic microfiber maze limited from one side by metal cap and from other side, by perforated cylinder. Asbestos sealing gasket is placed between soot collector and end face part of intake branch pipe. Swirler is installed in intake branch pipe of valve. Through hole made in valve housing is used to communicate intake and outlet pipelines.
EFFECT: reduced toxicity and smoke content in exhaust gases, increased service life of recirculating valve.
