FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring concentration variations in blood serum glucocorticoids, insulin and malonic dialdehyde. Lipid reserve index needed for peroxidation as ratio of malonic dialdehyde concentration accumulated in blood serum sample during its incubation period under prooxidation influence of bivalent iron to initial malonic dialdehyde concentration in the same sample. Functional organism stress index is calculated from formula FOS index= AH index / LRPO index, where AH index is the adaptive hormone index calculated as glucocorticoids-to-insulin ratio in blood serum; LRPO index is the lipid reserve index needed for peroxidation. FOS index value growth during observation dynamics gives evidence of functional organism stress growth. Its drop points out to functional disorder normalization.
EFFECT: high accuracy and simplicity of the method.
