FIELD: radio engineering; basic components for various microwave devices.
SUBSTANCE: proposed microwave phase shifter has phase-shifting channel on single transmission life with stub and compensating line. Single transmission line is made in the form of odd number of symmetrical cascaded sections of uniform transmission lines whose lengths equal λm/4; length of central section equals λm/2. Wave impedances of these sections are monotonously reducing toward center of single line; stub is inserted in the middle of central section.
EFFECT: enhanced precision of constant phase shift in wide frequency band with reduced maximal standing wave ratio at phase-shifting channel input.
