SUBSTANCE: proposed fixed microwave phase shifter has phase-shifting channel on single transmission line with stub inserted in line center, incoming lines with wave impedance ρ0, and compensating line. Single transmission line is made in the form of even number of exponential single transmission line sections symmetrically interconnected in cascade and symmetrically disposed relative to central section formed by homogeneous single transmission line having wave impedance ρc, length of sections , their wave impedances, and shape of exponent being chosen so as to ensure desired phase shift (reduced Δφ) and standing-wave ratio.
EFFECT: enhanced precision of fixed phase shift in broad frequency band at reduced voltage standing-wave ratio of phase-shifting channel input.
