FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices providing a constant phase shift between a reference channel (compensating line) (RC) and a phase-shift channel (PC) in a wide frequency band. The fixed microwave phase shifter contains a reference channel on a single transmission line and a phase-shift channel made in the form of at least one four-terminal network in the form of a section of connected transmission lines loaded at the junction with a short-circuited loop. Moreover, the associated transmission lines are made stepwise-inhomogeneous.
EFFECT: decrease in the standing wave ratio by voltage and decrease of the maximum deviation of the phase shift function from the nominal value.
