FIELD: physics, radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates radio engineering, namely to devices dividing power in SHF range into two channels and decoupling said channels. The two-channel step power divider with identical channels contains sections of a uniform transmission line with the different wave resistance and cascade connection in each channel, aforesaid sections alternating with the decoupling resistance. Note that the divider incorporates additionally capacitors connected in parallel before every aforesaid section, transmission line section length being smaller than λaw/4 where λaw is an average wavelength of the operating frequency range. Note also that the values of capacitors' capacitance, those of decoupling resistance and wave resistance of aforesaid sections, at fixed length of transmission line, are selected so that to suit the condition of providing a maximum magnitude of standing wave factor (SWF) and a maximum value of value of the minimum decoupling between the channels in operating band.
EFFECT: improved frequency characteristics of power divider with its length unchanged or reduced.
