FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with treating dry-eye syndrome in patients with myopia working with a computer. One should detect the degree of affected tear formation by applying hydrogel soft contact lens and instillations of viscoelastic preparations. Moreover, in case of light degree of affected tear formation one should apply contact lens at 55-60% hydrophily, when Schirmer test corresponds to 12-14 mm, in case of average degree, when Scirmer's test corresponds to 8-11 mm it is necessary to apply contact lens of hydrophily being 60-65%, and in case of severe degree, when Scirmer's test corresponds to below 8 mm one should apply contact lens of 65-70% hydrophily.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
