SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. Presence of a combination of the performed cosmetology procedures - botulinus toxin injection for aesthetic purpose, eyelid tattooing, lashes extension, factor of wearing contact lenses, use of menopausal hormonal therapy, oral hormonal contraceptives, duration of operation in front of computer monitor, determination of age. If observing 2 or more types of cosmetological procedures, a contact lens wearing factor for more than 6 months and at least 6 hours a day, visual work in front of a computer monitor for more than 3 hours a day, use of at least 3 months of menopausal hormonal therapy or oral contraceptive hormonal therapy, age over 45 years, predict dry eye syndrome (DES) for 14 days - 3 months after cosmetic procedures in the periorbital area.

EFFECT: method enables providing a timely pathogenetically substantiated therapy for preventing developing manifestations and progression of DES in the patients following cosmetological interventions in the periorbital region.
