FIELD: thermal engineering; designing new and updating existing steam-turbine units.

SUBSTANCE: proposed steam-turbine unit has boiler communicating through steam line with turbine, regenerative heaters, and condenser, as well as second boiler communicating through steam line with second turbine and incorporating regenerative system and delivery water boiler; pipeline feeding delivery water to second-turbine boiler communicates through piping with condensate feeding line downstream of one of first-turbine regenerative heaters; pipeline passing delivery water discharged from second-turbine boiler communicates through piping with condensate feeding line at inlet of next regenerative heater of first turbine; in addition, gate valve is installed on condensate line between these regenerative heaters. Such cycle arrangement provides for operation of back-pressure turbine irrespective of presence or absence of heat and power loads thereby eliminating long-time outages of equipment.

EFFECT: enhanced economic efficiency compared with arrangements where both turbines operate separately.
