FIELD: sealings.
SUBSTANCE: method includes forming the core made of porous oriented polytetrafluoroethylene and winding single-directed porous polytetrafluoroethylene film on the core. The core is molded by random pressing at least one belt of single-directed polytetrafluoroethylene film strengthened preliminary by thermal treatment at a temperature of 250-237°C and at least one belt made of soft single-directed porous polytetrafluoroethylene film. The sealing material has core made of a multilayer rope with randomly distributed layers which is made of porous oriented polytetrafluoroethylene film and winding made of porous oriented polytetrafluoroethylene film.
EFFECT: simplified manufacturing.
