FIELD: medical-destination polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: tetrafluoroethylene-based implant represents microporous layered structure formed by layering a multitude (from 2 to 96) of microporous biaxially-oriented polytetrafluoroethylene films pretreated at 320-340 C before transversal orientation followed by thermal fixation at the same temperature, said structure having porosity 67-80% and orientation of fibrils in each layer of polytetrafluoroethylene film being perpendicular with respect to orientation of fibrils in each adjacent layer. At last one of the layers can be of nonporous fluorinated polymer, for instance of tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymer, or of chipped polytetrafluoroethylene film, or of fluorinated rubber. Implant can be perforated throughout its surface. EFFECT: increased degree of implantability with sufficient all-direction strength. 8 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 10 ex
