SUBSTANCE: method comprises supplying to the pipeline inhibited water in volume V = V_P - V_UN - V_T, where V_P is the volume of the pipeline, V_UN is the section of the undeepened pipeline, and V_T is the volume of the traps in the rising branch of the pipeline, finishing the filling of the pipeline with oil in volume V_UN + V_T, comparing branch of the pipeline defined by the elevated section and initial and final points of the pipeline profile, revealing the branch which traps smaller amount of oil, and filling the pipeline with water and then finally with oil.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of preserving.
