FIELD: fragmentation ammunition of various application.
SUBSTANCE: nowadays fragmentation ammunition is known that has an envelope with cuts for uniform crushing into fragments, or contains a great number of separate injurious components located in the ammunition body. The given ammunition is complicated in design, labor-consuming, features insufficient efficiency of action at the target. The ammunition has a body, blasting charge of explosive, the blasting charge is made is the form of a cylinder consisting of separate components in the form of segments, each charge segment has a thin-walled envelope, manufactured by way of rolling of a round billet filled by a powdered high-power explosive, located inside rings or spiral of elongated hollow charges, each ring is located at a strictly definite distance from one another calculated by formula: l1=l/k, where l1 - the distance between the hollow charge grooves, mm, and l is the width of the envelope component obtained at its rupture; the inside diameter of the rings coincides with the inside diameter of the charge; k - coefficient depending on the material properties and the shape of the hollow charge groove besides, the space between the circular elongated shaped charges is filled with ready-made injurious components.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of ammunition fragmentation action, simplified procedure of ammunition manufacture.
