FIELD: medicine, pediatrics, neonatology.
SUBSTANCE: one should detect circulatory phases in accordance with child's age and values for resistance index of anterior cerebral artery. Moreover, at the age of 1-3 mo at values of resistance index being 0.80-0.74 it is possible to diagnose the phase of spasm. At the age of 3-9 mo at resistance index being 0.67-0.60 - the phase of vascular relaxation should be detected. At the age of above 9 mo at resistance index being 0.67-0.60 it is possible to diagnose stable decrease of resistance index that indicates unfavorable prediction, at restoring index up to 0.68-0.72 - it is possible to conclude upon the phase of restoration of vascular resistance and favorable result. The method enables to objectivize clinical manifestations of restorative period of perinatal encephalopathy.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of evaluation.
