FIELD: the invention refers to measuring technique and may be used for controlling working surfaces of wheel-axle units of railway rolling-stock.
SUBSTANCE: the line measuring device has parallel rods 1 , a cross beam 2 with fixed in the middle part an indicator 5 and inner pairs 3, middle pairs 7 and extreme pairs 8 of measuring carriages. The inner pairs of the measuring carriages are located with possibility of traveling at the ends of the beam. Besides the measuring device has two supports 12 and two consoles 11. The two supports which surfaces are parallel to the axis of the beam are fixed on the beam symmetrically to the indicator. The two consoles which surfaces are parallel to the axis of the beam are fixed to the rods in parallel with the axis of the beam. On each of the consoles there are a middle measuring carriage 7 and an extreme measuring carriage 8. At that rods are installed in the inner measuring carriages with possibility of traveling and fixation in the plane common with the indicator, and contact shanks 9 and 10 are fulfilled with measuring elements located from the direction of the controlled surface.
EFFECT: simplifying construction and widening functional constructions.
