FIELD: plastic working of metals, possibly flanging parts such as bottoms and lids.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes shaping mandrel and beading rotary roller and it is mounted in boring and turning lathe. Mandrel is in the form of rotating cylindrical roller adjusted for predetermined size of flange and arranged in turret heat of said lathe with possibility of rigid engagement by its end surface with surface of disc like blank. Beading rotary roller is arranged in cutter holder of lateral rest and it is spaced from rotary cylindrical roller by distance equal to thickness of disc like blank. Faceplate of lathe is designed for mounting in it stand of blank.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of flanges due to elimination of riffles and cracking.
