FIELD: method of production of hydroxylamine by interaction of hydroxylamine-sulfate with gaseous ammonia.
SUBSTANCE: interaction of hydroxylamine-sulfate with gaseous ammonia is followed by separation of solution and salt fraction and removal of ammonia from solution. Interaction of hydroxylamine-sulfate with gaseous ammonia is performed at two stages: at first stage interaction is continued till pH of mixture is within 8-11; then solution is subjected to cleaning on complex-forming ion exchanger before second stage ; separation of hydroxylamine is performed through re-crystallization followed by cleaning hydroxylamine first by electrolysis and then by ion exchange. Used as complex-forming ion exchanger is cationite or ampholyte with carboxyl, phosphoric acid or iminodiacetic acid groups.
EFFECT: possibility of producing concentrated (above 50 mass-%) solutions at high degree of purity.
