FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to whey utilisation, in particular to a method of separation and purification of 3'-sialyllactose, 6'-sialyllactose, anionic oligosaccharides and/or proteins from whey. The method includes a contact of whey with, at least, one group of ion-exchange resins, which includes the first cation-exchange resin, the first anion-exchange resin, the second cation-exchange resin and the second anion-exchange resin, for whey demineralisation; a contact of the said demineralised whey with two additional or the last ion-exchange resins, including a strong acidic cation-exchange resin with the following weakly basic anion-exchange resin, where 3'-sialyllactose, 6'-sialyllactose, anionic oligosaccharides and/or proteins are caught on the anion-exchange resin; and separation of 3'-sialyllactose, 6'-sialyllactose, anionic oligosaccharides and/or proteins from the anion-exchange resin.
EFFECT: invention provides a higher output of 3'-sialyllactose, 6'-sialyllactose, anionic oligosaccharides and proteins in the highly purified form.
