APPARATUS FOR STAPLING OF FLAX FILAMENT IN STRIP Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: textile industry.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has feeding rolls for feeding filament into working chamber formed as housing with aperture in its side surface for discharge of stapled filament, and scutching drums mounted inside housing for synchronous rotation on shafts in single direction. Scutching drums are provided with radial beating planks arranged on scutching drums alternatively in two planes extending perpendicular to axes of rotation. Section of each beater maximally distal from axis of rotation is turned with respect to other section adjoining to site where said beater is embedded, with planes of said sections extending in parallel with one another. Section maximally remote from axis of rotation is turned in clockwise direction when viewed from axis of rotation of scutching drum.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and provision for producing of filaments with equalized length.
