SUBSTANCE: apparatus comprises feeding rolls designated for feeding of fiber into working chamber made in the form of housing, pulling drums equipped with beaters and adapted for synchronic rotation on rolls, air passage clearances of adjustable area, and is additionally provided with two frames located forward of cut provided through housing in close proximity to sliver feeding zone so that air passage clearance within each of said frames may be adjusted for enabling passage of air into chamber. Edges located in close proximity to fiber are movable with respect to one another.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of fiber.
