FIELD: medicine, oncology.
SUBSTANCE: at treating patients with pancreatic cancer one should suture in pancreatic section into the stomach, moreover, it is necessary to keep vascular arch out of left- and right-hand gastro-omental vessels. One should cross gastric body along the greater curvature to be perpendicular for 5 cm, suture both anterior and posterior walls of crossed stomach together, pancreatic section should be sutured into isolated gastric part being distally against the site of its crossing. The innovation enables to isolate pancreatic stump against gastric content in case of pancreatoduodenal resection.
