FIELD: GEOPHYSICS.

SUBSTANCE: method can be used for monitoring of environment. According to the method images of seismic center can be received from two polarization mutually orthogonal receiving channels. Synthesized image array if formed from pixel-to-pixel relation of signal amplitudes in polarization channels. Area of relief of synthesized array is calculated in relation to geometrical area of photograph and changes in the relation are traced by means of set of photographs made. Parameters of earthquake are predicted from numerical characteristics of relation to be traced.

EFFECT: improved reliability of prediction.
