FIELD: devices for catching rodents, in particular, mice.
SUBSTANCE: mousetrap has plastic bottle with outlet opening in its upper part, device for lifting mice to outlet opening, bait hung inside bottle, and rocker positioned inside outlet opening. Rocker rotation axis is positioned in holes provided in bottle wall. Member for lifting mice to outlet opening is formed as trapezium-shaped column with offset bottle opening in upper base of trapezium. Rocker rotation axis divides it into two parts: light-weight part arranged inside bottle and heavy part arranged outside of bottle and resting upon upper column platform.
EFFECT: increased effectiveness of mousetrap owing to easy access by mice to outlet opening of bottle.
