FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic actuator has booster coil and additional coil for locking the closure member in open position. The additional coil has two rectifying bridges, thermostat, and switch. The three latter members of the system are connected with the pickup of open position of the valve. The output of one of the bridges is connected with the booster coil for keeping the closure member in open position. The switch is connected in the input bridge line of the booster coil and is connected with the pickup of open position. The thermostat is mounted in the common input line of the rectifying bridges. The pickup of open position is made of a sealed-contact reed relay which is controlled by the permanent magnet. Each of the coils is shunted by corresponding diodes.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability.
