FIELD: testing of condition of underground part of contact system.
SUBSTANCE: natural low-frequency oscillations of support are excited and high-frequency oscillations are excited additionally in the part of support which situated above the ground. Condition of underground part of support is judged from logarithmic decrements of high-frequency oscillations relatively low-frequency oscillations by comparing the relation with standard one.
EFFECT: improved reliability; improved truth of testing.
