FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: in a proposed method to detect a corrosion condition of an underground part in reinforced concrete supports of power transmission lines and a contact system including visual survey of an underground part of a reinforced concrete support, a video endoscopic system is placed via a ventilation hole inside a support. At the same time with the help of a lighting system, the necessary level of illumination is provided on the inner surface of the support, with the help of an endoscope control system the endoscope is moved so that the entire surface of the support is surveyed from the soil surface to the support base. Besides, video information on the condition of the inner surface is displayed to the screen for the operator, and sent to a system of images processing for automatic detection of defects and identification of their dimensions, by availability and size of cracks and brown stains on the inner surface of the support the corrosion condition of the underground part of the reinforced concrete support is estimated.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and reduced labour intensiveness in detection of a corrosion condition of an underground part of reinforced concrete supports by a visual method.
