FIELD: production of items out of high-viscosity compounds by pressure casting.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of production of items out of high-viscosity compounds by pressure casting. The method provides for molding of an item by feeding of a compound from below into a vertically mounted mould at producing in it a counter-pressures with the help of a volumetric form flow deflector located coaxially to the mould inlet window removed of the press- mould by the pressure of the compound in the process of molding. At that the counter-pressure formed by the flow deflector is regulated by a variation of the geometrical dimensions of the deflector and the compound within the limits of 0.5...1.5 τT, where τT - yield strength of a compound. The invention ensures a faultless molding of an item due to prevention of cracks formation and catching the air as a result of breakdown of a continuity of the flow on the free surface of flow of the compound into the press mold.
EFFECT: the invention ensures a faultless molding of items due to prevention of cracks formation and air catching in the production process.
