FIELD: engine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises central control unit and peripheral units each for one cylinder of internal combustion engine. The central control unit sends digital control signals to periphery units on which the peripheral units ignites mixture in the corresponding cylinder. The peripheral units measure the parameters which characterize their condition and send the test digital signals to the central control unit. The central control unit analyses and process the test signals from the peripheral units and determines time interval between the control signals and test signals.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability of ignition testing.
