FIELD: cleaning gases from dust.
SUBSTANCE: proposed centrifugal dust collector has housing with rotor mounted inside it. Housing and rotor are made in form of cylindrical sleeves inserted one inside other; circular inlet manifold is connected to open side of housing provided with discharge branch pipe in its center; one end of this branch pipe is communicated with rotor cavity and other end is connected to draft fan; inner diameter of rotor shell exceeds outer diameter of its circular inlet slot of manifold; rotor shell has through longitudinal trapezoidal slots; their lesser bases are used as chords of outer circle of shell; edges of adjacent slots intersect on inner diameter of shell; vertical dust discharge branch pipe is radially connected to housing.
EFFECT: simplified construction; avoidance of separation of gas by "contaminated" and clean fractions; enhanced cleaning of gas.
