FIELD: military equipment, applicable in a packing container for storage and transportation of small-sized cartridges.

SUBSTANCE: the container has a body with a bottom, cover with an outer recess and a circular groove aligned with it, through which the cover is installed through a packing ring on the open end face of the body, the cover lock located in its axis, sealing test assembly, as well as a guard. The cover lock screw is hermetically fastened to the body bottom and faces the cover with the threaded end. The lock nut is made stepped and installed on a screw with placement of the step of the smaller diameter in the through hole of the cover made coaxially with the screw, and the step of the larger diameter through the sealing ring- on the surface of the outer recess of the cover. The threaded seat of the leak-proofness test assembly is formed by a through hole of the stepped nut of the cover lock connected with the cavity of the body by a one-sided slot on the lock screw, having a length exceeding the length of its thread, or by a through radial hole made in the step of the smaller diameter of the lock nut, and the guard is formed by circular corrugations made on the side wall of the body near its bottom and cover. The container is provided with an insert with seats for placement and fixation of the small-sized cartridges.
