FIELD: metal working tools and apparatuses, tools with mechanical fastening of cutting tips.

SUBSTANCE: tool includes body, cutting tip with hole secured to angular seat of body by means of rod having threaded end and nut on it, chip breaker. Said rod is double-step one and it is arranged in through stepped opening of body. In recess of chip breaker threaded end of rod and nut are arranged. Rod step of small diameter passes through stepped opening of body, through hole of cutting tip and opening of chip breaker. Head of rod is arranged in through stepped opening of body and it has centering collar. In order to improve operational reliability, joining surface of steps of rod with large and small diameters is cone one and it engages with cone surface of chamfer formed on joining zone of flat surface of bottom and cylindrical surface of small diameter of through stepped opening of body. Cone joining surface of rod steps of large and small diameters engages with cone surface of chamfer at side opposite to apex of angular seat.

EFFECT: improved design and enhanced operational reliability of tool.
