SUBSTANCE: proposed method for manufacturing tritium beta-radiation source includes evaporation of active metal, such as titanium, layer onto substrate and its saturation with tritium. Active metal is saturated with tritium by bringing it in contact with tritium-containing donor.

EFFECT: eliminated escape of tritium during service of source.
