FIELD: electricity; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: electrode consists of high-alloy steel rod and coating applied on it that consists of the following components, wt %: marble 9-25, magnesium or ferromanganese 3-12, ferrosilicon 0.5-7, chrome 3-14, red ochre 5-12, fluorspar 9-30, muscovite 5-9, bicarbonate potassium 1-2.5, titanium dioxide - the rest. Depending on composition of wire and requirements to physical and mechanical properties of weld material, the coating may additionally contain the following components from the group: molybdenum, ferromolybdenum, nickel, ferrovanadium, ferroniobium, chrome, iron powder. For control of welding and technological properties the following components from the group may be introduced in the coating: cellulose, alumina, kaolin.
EFFECT: proper welding, technological and mechanical properties and high resistance against intercrystalline corrosion.
