FIELD: building, particularly roof structures.
SUBSTANCE: method involves placing the first row of overlapped bituminous polymeric roll material strips connected one to another by fusing thereof along the full strip length. Each next row is laid near the previous one and edges thereof are connected to strip edges of previously laid adjacent row by fusing. Before next row strips placing edges of previously laid row strips facing next row are fixed on roof base by fastening members spaced in row length direction. Fusing of overlapped strip areas is performed so that connection areas enclose areas of fastening member location, wherein all roll material strips of each row are freely laid on roof base so that air gaps are created between roll material and roof base. Air gaps are opened in parapet wall or ridge areas.
EFFECT: prevention of ice formation on roof.
