FIELD: gas panels.
SUBSTANCE: method includes forming in image frame of sub-fields or sub-fields groups, containing addressing and indication intervals, while in addressing interval of first sub-field of each image frame or each sub-fields group all displayed elements are selectively included, which should be present in this state at least in one sub-field of current image frame or current sub-field group, and then in addressing intervals displayed elements are selectively disabled, which should not be in enabled state in current and following sub-fields, to reach maximally high contrast of image for large quantity of brightness levels.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, broader functional capabilities, higher image quality.
