SUBSTANCE: method and device for transmitting and receiving between mobile station and base station of information of orthogonal code index, pointing out orthogonal codes, available for mobile station n mobile communication system, supporting multimedia services, which include voice and data transfer services. Mobile stations are connected to base stations and concurrently receive services of data transfer from base station. Base station generates information of orthogonal code index accordingly to states of direct mobile station channel, and sends this to mobile station. Each mobile station determines orthogonal codes assigned thereto from received information of orthogonal code index.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, broader functional capabilities.
