FIELD: neurophysiology; experimental medicine.
SUBSTANCE: electrodes are introduced into Ammon's horn vault and place of supposed localization of ventral and dorsal branches of subiculum and adjacent core along coordinates of brain. Conductive fibers of vault are electrically stimulated and electrodes are shifted till focal induced potentials are registered in adjacent core and efferent branches of subiculum. Direct current is passed through electrode. Beams are damaged till getting absence of induced potentials in adjacent core.
EFFECT: improved precision of modeling of pathology of conductive ways of Ammon's horn; reduced errors at localization of efferent ways of Ammon's horn; improved reliability of operation.
