FIELD: medicine, in particular, general surgery, vascular surgery, and neurosurgery.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has fastening device, sleeve defined by pivotal links composed of alternating bushings with cavities and additional members, and clamp for surgical instrument at sleeve end. Each additional member is formed as rod with widened spherical portions at its ends. In order to define pivotal links, widened spherical portions of adjacent additional members are located at both ends inside cavities of each bushing. Adjacent additional cavities are spaced by means of spring placed therebetween and are contacting at their reverse sides with bushing stops.

EFFECT: elimination of danger of unexpected cable breakage and destruction of sleeve during operation and provision for keeping high mobility of sleeve on adjustment of its position in space and rigid and reliable retaining of surgical instrument in desirable spatial position.
