FIELD: catalysts.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology for preparing catalysts intended for conducting heterogeneous catalytic reactions occurring in a fixed (stationary) layer of the catalyst, e.g., in tubular reactors. Described is a catalyst for heterogeneous reactions including deep oxidation of hydrocarbons, the heterogeneous catalysed process of partial gas phase oxidation of propylene to acrylic acid, production of formic acid in the form of a moulded granule with a form of a "ring-block", "ring in ring", including a catalytic element characterised by the fact that an axisymmetric central through hole is made inside the granule, with a cross-section in the form of a square or a circle associated by axisymmetric partitions with the inner surface of the outer ring of the granule forming through-holes with a non-circular cross-section, all the inner walls of the holes have the same thickness of 1.5 to 3.5 mm, wherein the ratio of the values of the external surface of the granule to the values of the volume thereof constitutes 2.5 to 6.0 cm-1, the catalytic element includes connection of one or more elements selected from K, Ba, Al, Si, V, Ti, Cr, Μn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Mo.
EFFECT: development of catalysts, carriers for catalysts with low bulk weight, high strength and wear resistance, with an optimal granule structure providing lower hydraulic resistance of the catalyst layer to a high gas flow, and the development of a method for production thereof; due to the optimal granule structure, the concentrations of the reacting substances are mixed and equalised, the power efficiency and reliability of the units are increased.
