FIELD: processes for purifying of gas from dust in heat engineering, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing gas to be purified into cyclone provided with axial discharge branch pipe for gas to be purified; purifying gas from dust by the action of centrifugal forces upon progressive motion of rotating gas flow from the top to the bottom, followed by turning of purified gas flow upward; supplying flow of auxiliary wetted gas into zone where purified gas flow turns in upward direction; introducing solid coagulant such as natural snow mass or chipped ice or mixture thereof into gas flow in an amount of 0.1-10.0 kg/m3 of gas under purification process. With an increase in dustiness of gas under purification process, consumption of natural snow mass, chipped ice or mixture thereof per each 0.2 g/m3 of gas is increased by 0.5-1.0 kg/m3 of gas under purification process.
EFFECT: increased extent of purifying gas from dust.
