FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning gases from dust in heat engineering, ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy. Method of gas freeing from dust includes input of gas subjected to cleaning into the cyclone with top axial exhaust branch pipe, gas cleaning from dust by centrifugal forces at progressive motion of the rotating flow downwards with turned upward, collecting the stream of the collected dust in dust collector with dust exhaust hole with B diameter, spraying in a dust collector secondary coagulating liquid with density of ρl in the form of jets, oriented on the collected dust flow to obtain the collected dust and liquid, briquetting mixture caught dust and fluid on roller press to produce briquettes with density ρb and sizes L. Roller press consists of two rolls with diameter D installed with gap h in between in the dust collector lower part. Note here that additionally measured is dust content of gas subjected to cleaning C0 and cleaned flow C1, volume flow rate of subjected to cleaning Vg and secondary coagulating liquid Vl. After that, optimal roll rotation frequency is set for the roller press, determined by formula: n=[Vg(C0-C1)+Vl·ρl]/π·D·B·L·ρb.
EFFECT: higher degree of gas freeing from dust and stability of briquetting the mixture of caught dust and fluid.
