FIELD: quality control technologies.

SUBSTANCE: method includes extraction and processing of primary sample, preparation of laboratory sample, determining coefficients of quality of fuel in laboratory sample, particularly moisture saturation. Primary sample is firstly divided on two fractions with size of core 0-6mm and 6-200mm, then mass shares of fractions α1cons and α2cons are calculated. Significance of differences between characteristics of fraction fuel composition is estimated, which characteristics are produced by fuel consumer α1cons and α2cons and analogical characteristics, provided by fuel provider α1prov and α2prov. After that material of fraction 2 is pulverized until size of core reaches 6mm, laboratory probe mass Mls is assigned, material of both fractions is decreased in volume to samples with mass M1 and M2 respectively, which are combined as laboratory probe with mass M = M1 + M2. Method allows during a short time to operatively control quality of small batch of solid fuel, received in boiler plant, and fuel control can be performed by operators of boilers without need for highly qualified specialist analysts.
