FIELD: metallurgy; getter devices made from getter alloys.

SUBSTANCE: proposed nonvaporizing getter alloy has high sorption capacity of gases, especially nitrogen containing zirconium, vanadium and iron; it also additionally contains manganese and at least one element selected from yttrium, lanthanum, lanthanides and any mixture of them at the following ratio of components, mass-%: zirconium, from 60 to 85; vanadium, from 2 to 20; iron, from 0.5 to 10; manganese, from 2.5 to 30; yttrium, lanthanum, lanthanides or their mixture, from 1 to 6. Device contains powder getter material of nonvaporizing getter alloy.

EFFECT: enhanced sorption of gases, especially nitrogen.
