FIELD: chemical and food-processing industries; dry inertial purification of gases.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of dry inertia purification of gases from a dust and may be used in any branch of industry where there is a need of cleanout of gas streams, in particular, in chemical and the food-processing industries. The dust trap contains a cylinder-conic body, an inlet branch-pipe tangentially located at an angle of 11° to a horizontal and a coaxially connected outlet branch-pipe. In a central part of the body there is a coaxially connected screw-type insert made in the form of a band with a lower end bent inside with formation of a chute and fixed to the cylindrical part of the body. At that the radius of the spiral depends on the size of being trapped particles. The technical effect is an increased efficiency of purification of air from a finely dispersed dust.
EFFECT: the invention ensures an increased efficiency of purification of air from a finely dispersed dust.
