FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: device can be used for stopping bleeding and improving healing of wound and ulcerous defects. Device has high-frequency electric current source, handle, tubular section with electric drive and mechanical link, tip-electrode in form of clamp, working member made of electro-conducting biologically inertial material. Working member is fed to hearth of bleeding by means of clamp till getting contact with it and electric current is applied to the hearth for electro-coagulation through clamp. Working member can be made of perforated foil, either in form of metal rod which has one end submerged into tissue or in form of electro-conducting seam thread for bringing ends of wounds together. According to the invention, electro-coagulation hemostasis can be performed at different sorts of bleeding from biological tissues. In this case working member is fixed inside the area of pathological process. Fixation of electrode during coagulation provides improving in efficiency of procedure.
