FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used for stopping bleeding from wounds, first of all of parenchymal organs. Device of hemostasis includes source of high-frequency electric current, handle, tubular part with electric drive, tip-electrode and working element from carbon fibres. Working element is made in form of suture thread, which is used to bring wound edges together by sewing with blunt-end needle, and on which further electric current is supplied via tip-electrode for coagulation. 0.5-1.0 cm long and 0.05-0.1 cm thick metal rod is fixed by the middle on one of the working element ends.
EFFECT: reliable hemostasis in case of bleeding from various types of wounds is achieved.
