METHOD FOR TILLAGE OF SOLONETZ SOIL AND COMBINED TILLAGE TOOL FOR EFFECTUATING THE SAME Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, tillage of solonetz soil.

SUBSTANCE: method involves performing the following operations: shifting soil layer above solonetz layer and mixing said layers by means of related tool; while undercutting fertile layer above solonetz layer, solonetz layer and saline layer of said solonetz complex, grinding soil of said layers into large-sized aggregates; laterally shifting soil aggregates and laying in preferably vertical or inclined strips; laying said strips onto bottom of ditch excavated during previous passage of tillage tool in repeated combinations of above-solonetz, solonetz, and saline layers. Adjacent ditches are separated from one another by connecting parts. Tillage tool has frame with flat hoe and mellowers arranged at two levels behind flat hoe. Flat hoe is made in the form of U-shaped clip. One of clip legs is laterally inclined. Front parts of clip are equipped with cutting edge and are inclined at an angle of 50-70° to horizontal plane. Horizontal blade of clip is arranged at an angle of 3-10° to horizontal plane. Lower-level mellower is formed as group of ribs mounted and inclined to horizontal blade of clip. Upper-level mellower is formed as rotavator spherical disk. Axis of rotation of spherical disk is inclined in longitudinal-vertical and transverse-vertical planes of symmetry of frame. Concavity of spherical disk is facing toward group of clip ribs. Upper level mellower is arranged behind clip ribs.

EFFECT: reduced consumption of power for tillage of solonetz complex and intensified desalination of solonetz complex soil layers.
