FIELD: agriculture, in particular, vegetable growing, more particular, cultivation of long-stalked tomatoes.
SUBSTANCE: tomato plantation has trellis, outer support, twine, ring made from twine, plants, twisted part, rod, and terminating support. Trellis defining site where plants are to be planted are wound with twine at both sides. Each of supports is wound once in the form of ring. Upon accomplishment of works with one trellis, adjacent trellis is subjected to the same procedure. Second end of twine is bound to terminating support. Within trellis, twisted part is formed between plants, said twisted part being formed from two adjacently extending twines by means of rod. Lower end of rod is then inserted into ground.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability, simplified construction and reduced labor intensity for cultivation of tomatoes.
